Millersburg Food Run 5k/10k

The Millersburg Food Run 5k/10k is hosted by the Millersburg Seventh-day Adventist Church as a fundraiser for the Love Center Food Pantry in Millersburg, Ohio. The food pantry services nearly 1000 families in Holmes County, in the the heart of Amish Country.

The Millersburg Food Run 5k/10k is the Millersburg Seventh-day Adventist Church's contribution to help meet the needs of Holmes County families. All proceeds from the race will be donated to the Love Center Food Pantry.

The Love Center Food Pantry has been servicing the needs of Holmes Country since 1986. Nearly 1000 families utilize the food pantry and it has processed over 660,000 lbs of food a year. This Christian ministry is supported by businesses and congregations throughout Holmes Country.

There will be competitive, professionally timed, 5k and 10k courses and a non-competitive 1 mile Run/Walk. The race is on the flat, paved, Rails to Trails path (former train track) starting at Hipp Station Depot near historic downtown Millersburg, Ohio. The race course runs through wooded areas and farm fields. You will sometimes see deer and wildlife along the way. You may even see a bald eagle! Amish buggies and cyclists regularly use this trail, so be prepared to share the space.

First place in each age and gender category for the 10K and 5K will receive a medal.

Every race participant will receive a goody bag and a ticket for prize drawings included in their entry fee. Anyone can be a winner! Prize drawings donated by local businesses (Ace Hardware, AutoZone, Cleveland Cavs, Cleveland Browns, Handmade Cards by Stasi, Killbuck Savings Bank, Main Street Fudge & Popcorn Co., Olde World Bakery, Rodhe's IGA Marketplace, Rozuk Radiology, and Smart Style Salon). Goody bags contain items and coupons from local businesses. Snacks and drinks will be available after the race.
